Multi-cloud services provider Expedient, has today announced the opening of its new data center in Phoenix, Arizona, targeting the rise in clients’ demand across western United States.

The new 45,000 square foot data center offers a power capacity of 2.4MW with the ability to house 17,000 physical servers, expanding its portfolio of colocation, public, private, or multi-cloud services. With the opening of this facility Expedient now boasts of operating data center location in the United States and plans to open more sites through 2022.

The opening of the new Phoenix Tier 3 data center is coming about two weeks after the company announced the opening of a new data center in the City of Franklin, Wisconsin, precisely located in Milwaukee County.

With the intention of meeting its customer demands for cloud-based, Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offerings in the central United States, the Wisconsin data center delivers a critical power capacity of 1.2MW through the 8,500 square foot facility that can house more than 8,000 physical servers.
