ITS FIRST ASIA PACIFIC FACILITY

The Atlanta headquartered technology company LexisNexis Risk Solutions, has today announced the launch of its first data center facility in India.

Marking its first data center footprint in Asia Pacific, the new data center is expected to support the rapid rise in demand for data in Indian and to give local businesses access to the company’s enterprise solution for digital identity intelligence and authentication.

“India is an important market for us. We’re pleased to offer our customers anti-fraud and identity verification solutions they need to meet their complex fraud prevention needs,” said Stephen Topliss, vice president, fraud and identity, LexisNexis Risk Solutions.

As announced, the new data center will bring the capabilities of LexisNexis Risk Solutions to India, which include LexisNexis® ThreatMetrix®, LexisNexis® BehavioSec® as well as LexisNexis® Digital Identity Network®.

Recently, Digital Edge Ltd., also announced its entrance into the India market through a partnership with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (“NIIF”) and AGP DC InvestCo Pte Ltd (“AGP”) which include the development of a pan-India portfolio of hyperscale data centers. As announced, the proposed facility will leverage NIIF’s local and operational expertise in developing platforms as well as its strong infrastructure investment experience, and AGP’s on-the-ground real estate development and construction experience.

Also located in India, Web Werks and Iron Mountain Data Centers recently announced the launch of their first joint venture greenfield data center. The new data center facility which is stated to have been built within 18 months of being announced, is sited on a 120,000 square feet campus, adjacent to the Web Werks Mumbai-1 data center in Navi Mumbai.
