PARTNERING WITH SHAMSUL ALAMIN GROUP

The Data Center and Cloud services arm of Hiranandani Group, Yotta Data Services has just announced its strategic partnership with Shamsul Alamin Group (SAG) to support its expansion plan in Bangladesh.

Under this partnership, Yotta stated that it has embarked on an investment of over Tk2000 crore to develop a new hyperscale data center park in Dhaka, Bangladesh over the next 4-6 years, leveraging Shamsul Alamin Group expertise in real estate, along with its market leadership – to help identify the vast opportunities in Bangladesh’s emerging digital transformation market.

According to Yotta, the new data center park will house two hyperscale data center buildings, featuring 4800 racks and 28.8MW of IT power capacity while expecting the first data center building to go live in the third quarter of FY2024.

As announced, Yotta operates two hyperscale data center parks in India, with presence in Panvel (Navi Mumbai) and Greater Noida. Yotta’s first data center – Yotta NM1 in Panvel was inaugurated in July 2020 and is developed on a 600-acre Hiranandani Fortune City in Panvel, while  featuring 820,000 square foot space, 7,200 racks, as well as a power capacity of about 50MW.
