FEATURING RS. 4100 CR INVESTMENT

ST Telemedia Global Data Centers (STT GDC), has just announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to establish data centers in the state of Uttar Pradesh.

Featuring a total estimated investment of around Rs. 4100 crores, the project is to take place over multiple phases in the next 5 to 10 years in infrastructure build and operations, however, it will be subject to demand trajectory, policy support and techno-commercial viability, as stated by the company.

STT GDC India has signed MoUs with the Govt of UP for its investment outlook comprising 2 data center parks in Noida/Gr Noida including our ongoing project in sector 143, Noida. Further, an additional regional data center unit in Lucknow will aid the growth of digital infrastructure to support economic growth in other parts of the state,” said Sumit Mukhija, CEO, STT GDC India.

With a portfolio of about 200MW of Design Capacity in terms of IT load, spanning across 21 facilities (including under construction) in 9 cities, STT GDC India expects the newly proposed project to provide employments both directly and indirectly, for close to 2000 people, to further boast its offerings.

Recently, STT GDC also announced the structural completion of a new data center facility in Indonesia, the first building in its 72MW data center campus. As announced, the new data center facility is located in Bekasi Regency, close to Jakarta’s eastern border, with a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of 18,000 square meters and is expected to be operational by Q2 2023.
